  • This position provides clerical and office support and serves as the first point of contact between SERS members and retirement counseling staff for the regional office.  The Seneca Regional Office serves employees who work, and retirees who live, in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week.
  • Work hours are 08:00 AM to 16:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a one-hour unpaid meal period 12:00 PM to 13:00 PM.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home part-time (hybrid telework schedule), up to two days a week, depending on operational needs and progress in learning assigned tasks.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection; otherwise, you must work on-site at the work location specified in this job posting.

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
