What does the word BE mean to you? To us, it means not only a literal sense of place, but a sense of purpose, participation, and presence. The Be Here campaign was created to encourage people to be HERE in the Venango County area, by not just existing here, but by being involved, invested, and truly experiencing all the area has to offer.

We’re not here to tell you that the Venango Area is perfect, but we’re here to build awareness of the great opportunities that do exist and to work to make the area the best it can be. We cannot deny that challenges exist in our area, but we also cannot get stuck on this and refuse to move forward in order to allow growth. The people of the Venango Area are working hard to thrive and it’s important to realize all the opportunities that do exist. There’s a sense of community, low cost of living, outdoor recreation, art scene, entertainment, volunteer opportunities, education, scenic beauty, and so much more.
