Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with Happy Hour, featuring wine selections from Brokenstraw Valley Winery and light refreshments. Lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for members of Friends of Drake Well and $10 for non-members. The Wisdom & Wine Lecture Series is sponsored by CSR Services, LLC.

Enjoy “Political Cartoons of the Oil Region” by Abigail Watson-Popescu, a Project Manager for the Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry, & Tourism and a member of the Titusville Historical Society. Drawing on political cartoons from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including rare cartoons from the scrapbook of famed journalist Ida Tarbell, this talk will explore how businesses and important figures from the early oil industry were portrayed in the national press.
