VARHA — Venango Area Riding for the Handicapped Association — will hold an Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at its facility located at 150 Wagner Drive, Franklin.

People can meet VARHA’s horses and see its Christmas Barn. Pony rides will be given to children. Cart rides for families also will be available from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be a bonfire where people can get warm and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.
