The Venango County Community Recycling Center will hold a tire collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 10 at the center (134 Hanger Drive, Franklin).

Preregistration is required by calling 814-432-9689.

The cost is $2 per standard car tire; $3 for a light truck tire; and $8 for a heavy-duty truck tire. There is a limit of 20 tires per residence or business.

The event is sponsored by County of Venango and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
