The Crucible is set in a dark time in history where there is confining apparel, challenging proper social etiquette and mass hysteria. During the Salem witch trials, a farmer’s wife is maliciously accused of witchcraft by their servant. In this society, those who do not conform to the norm are a threat to the public good and fear becoming guilty by association. This is a timely parable of our current society where you are either right or wrong, no middle ground or room for explanation. Rated PG13. Tickets are $14-$20.
