The Chicken Coop Art Studio 306 is hosting a multi-station nature themed morning of fun at Mineral Springs Park in Emlenton, PA. Come hear the unique history of the Springs as well as the several activities the Coop ladies are putting together including rock painting, weaving, music and mediation, crafting with repurposed materials, and more to be added as the time approaches.

Mineral Springs is one of two parks in Emlenton and has the oldest oil well in the world still producing crude oil today. It has parking at the entrance, as well as some parking as you drive back into the park. The dirt/gravel road provides a beautiful stroll along the creek and among the trees that leads to a picnic area complete with a pavilion and picnic tables. We encourage you to bring a sack lunch to stay and linger in the atmosphere or visit one of the local establishments.

There will be multiple stations set up but there is no set time to participate. Stop in anytime between 10AM and 12PM!

The Chicken Coop Studio 306 is located in the Crawford Center, a historic former school building converted to a business center, in downtown Emlenton. The Coop, as it’s often called, is an open space where local artists can both hone their skills and showcase their work.
