Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – ARTS Oil City

ARTS Oil City, in partnership with the Oil Region Alliance and The Venango Chamber of Commerce, invites you to a ribbon cutting ceremony on the 2nd floor of the National Transit Building. We are pleased to welcome four new businesses operated by creative professionals who will have their studios open for viewing.
Please join us to celebrate the opening of these new studios, and see what has been happening in the arts hub of downtown Oil City!
John Manders is a fine artist and professional illustrator. John has many publications to his name and is well known for his personalized caricature drawings he does at events across NW PA. He relocated to Oil City through the Arts Relocation Program many years ago and had a studio in the transit building. He’s been gone a few years while he was out of town caring for his father, but now has a new and bigger studio. We are pleased to welcome John back to the Transit Building!
Kelsey May is an accomplished photographer well known for her wedding and family portraits. She is a native of Franklin but now resides in Oil City with her husband, daughter and dog. We are so excited to have Kelsey at the Transit Building where she has opened her first professional studio!
Trisha Mock is a relocated artist who is also returning to the Transit Building. Trisha operates Touch of Art studio, which was located in a studio in the Annex. After being away for the past year, she has returned to Studio 26A in the main building. Trisha plans to offer painting classes and she’s already at work getting them scheduled.
Connie Wolf is the newest artist to move into a studio. Connie moved to Oil City from Silver Springs, Maryland where, in addition to being an accomplished painter, she had a career as a cosmetologist with a specialty in color. She is a wonderful addition to the creative hub in Oil City and has just completed her move into her new studio.
