On Saturday, January 21, at 7 p.m., the Oil Region Astronomical Society (ORAS) will host a virtual presentation by one of our members, Mr. Larry McHenry. The topic will be solar observing. This will be an introduction to the various solar features visible in both white light and H-alpha. Solar observing techniques and equipment will also be discussed.

A link to the virtual event will then be e-mailed to you separately. The Zoom session will open at 6:50, giving you a chance for a tech-check to make sure your connection is working. From 7 to 7:10 there will be a brief update on ORAS activities. The presentation will begin at 7:10.
