On Saturday, July 13, ORAS president Dean Miskovich will give a talk entitled “Monsters — Subtle and Colossal Beasts of the Night Sky.” He will discuss some of the things that make the galaxy a scary place! This presentation will take place both on site and via Zoom. For those on site, the talk will be followed by a public observing session through the ORAS telescopes (weather permitting).

About the presenter: Dean Miskovich is a retired pilot and an avid amateur astronomer. As president of our club, he is very involved in ORAS activities, including sharing the wonders of the night sky with everyone.
