Oil City’s Christmas Past Jingle Bell Run/Walk 5K

Okay, folks, the Grinch is finally out of quarantine, and it is time to have our Jingle Bell 5K race! This LIVE event is for walkers and runners. Costumes are ENCOUARGED. This year, shirts are an EXTRA cost. You can do this race for a flat $10 with no shirt OR pay the additional $15 for a shirt. If registered by November 13, 2020, your shirt is guaranteed.

There also is a VIRTUAL option, which can be run anytime during the month of December 2020. Simply run the 3.1 miles, and submit your results to the race director, Rebekah Deal, at rebekah@morrisonhome.com. Shirts not picked up on race day will be available for pick up at the Oil Region Alliance Building, 217 Elm Street in Oil City, during their normal hours.
Due to trying to stay socially distanced, we will NOT have an awards ceremony, the only awards given will be top three male and female walkers and runners AND the pride that you just completed a 5K.
Race starts and ends by the Town Square in Oil City (206 Seneca Street) and will be an out and back course.
At the finish line, after the race, join the Oil City Rotary Club’s Chili Cookoff Contest and try varieties of homemade chili for a nominal fee. Many types of warm chili will be available.
