Oil City Artists are invited to a casual meeting to discuss the opportunities available for funding through our 2023 Creative Ventures Grant. Bring your project ideas and questions! We will have copies of the grant guidelines and application forms available for you to take with you.
The Creative Ventures Grant offers limited funding for working artists and other creative professionals to launch or support a creative venture in Oil City. The purpose of our grants are to support entrepreneurial activities within our creative sector, and a broad range of projects are encouraged. Funding can be used for expenses associated with starting or augmenting your creative business, or a specific project: marketing costs, project costs, other related expenses, commercial rent, etc.
Our Arts Revitalization Committee is very interested to hear your ideas and answer your questions in an effort to support new creative ventures in our community. Funding is limited and interested creatives are encouraged to get information and apply early. All funded projects must be completed this year.
The Oil City Creative Ventures Grant is made possible by funding from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of PA.
