Local businesses, organizations, schools and other groups are invited to select an area of town to spruce up: tasks include sweeping sidewalks, washing windows, picking up litter, and raking leaves/debris from landscaped areas on downtown streets, parking lots, parks and other areas. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available, with limited supplies and refreshments provided. Groups are also encouraged to register for Adopt-A-Block, agreeing to monitor and clean their designated area several times from spring through fall.
