The musical Grease will open June 21 at the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin. The last performance of the run, set for June 29, will coincide with Franklin’s 1950s-themed Libertyfest Parade. “Grease” is set in the 1950s with Danny and Sandy, the Pink Ladies, and the Burger Palace Boys. Packed with explosive energy, hopeless romance, badboy charm, and an unforgettable rock n’ roll soundtrack, it is one of the bestloved musicals of all time. Iconic scenes and hits like “Summer Nights”, “Greased Lightnin’”, and “We Go Together” will be brought to life in Franklin Civic Operetta Association’s production of Grease the Musical at the Barrow-Civic Theatre, with performances on June 21, 22, 27, and 28 at 7:30pm and June 23 and 29 at 2:00pm. The cast features actors from Grove City, Emlenton, Oil City, Cranberry, Rocky Grove, Titusville, Clarion, and Franklin. Rated PG 13
