On Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, the Good Hope/Zion Lutheran Ministry will be posting an Easter Vigil service on their website. This service was recorded alongside Father Mark S. Elliston of Christ Episcopal Church of Oil City, the Rev. Dr. Tim Harmon of 2nd Presbyterian Church of Oil City, Mother Elizabeth S. Ivell of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Franklin, Chris Curran of Grace Lutheran Church of Franklin, and Pastor Sandra K. Jones and Pastor J. Michael Parsh of Good Hope and Zion Lutheran Churches of Oil City.

The vigil service was put together with submitted videos and audio from different members of the participating congregations and filmed sections at Good Hope with the celebrants. Featured are a vocal solo by Dr. David Wagner and an organ solo by Cathy Dixon of 2nd Presbyterian, and a small vocal ensemble from Good Hope Lutheran Church. All recordings were done with social distancing and safety requirements.

The joint service will be viewable starting at 6:00pm on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at: goodhopezionlutheranoilcity.org/worship-together and will remain online for a week.
