Join us! Oour second annual LIT Fest will be held at the Venango Campus in Oil City, PA on August 10, 2024. This year’s festival will offer writing workshops taught by experienced writers in Fiction, Poetry, Non-Fiction, Sci-Fi Fantasy World Building, and Multi- Genre. Additionally, the festival will feature a Book and Community Resources Fair, showcasing writers and community groups networking and sharing their wares. Beyond the writing workshops and the Fair, the festival will offer open mics, plein air writing or a hiking/biking experience in the scenic surroundings of Venango Campus. The festival is sponsored by The Bridge Literary Arts Center, the Oil City Arts Council, Bridge Builders Community Foundation, and the Oil Region Alliance. Last year’s festival saw 72 participants, including writers from around the region and beyond. We look forward to welcoming even more attendees this year.
