Catholic Rural Ministry holds Book Study “Caste” during Jan. and Feb. located at YWCA, Oil City. All are invited.
Srs. Tina and Marian are collaborating with the YWCA, 109 Central Ave., Oil City with a book study on “Caste, the Origins of our Discontents” by Pulitzer Prize Winner Isabel Wilkerson.
The study will be held on Wednesdays, 1-30 – 3:00 PM beginning Jan. 10 until end of February. Participants will need to purchase a book available in print or on line.
Poetically written and brilliantly researched, Caste invites its readers to discover the inner workings of an American hierarchy that goes far beyond race, class or gender.
