Back by popular demand after selling out Lincoln Hall for the past two years, the supremely talented and charming DAVID MAYFIELD is the ultimate showman and comedic songwriter/singer/multi-instrumentalist and Grammy nominated producer. He returns with his band of spectacular virtuoso musicians. This is Summer Bluegrass Entertainment at its BEST!

Anyone who has seen David Mayfield perform has caught the charisma, the heart, and the comedy, and will be coming back for more. The David Mayfield Parade builds on his solid roots as a bluegrass musician, combining that background with folk, rock and his trademark humor and showmanship – as seen recently in “Ain’t Working” on NPR’s live Mountain Stage Radio Show. Spirit Magazine described David as “this abundantly bearded multi- instrumentalist/songwriter impresses with a sound on the cutting edge of indie folk- rock” and the Nashville Scene said, “A massively skilled picker and singer with a knack for stagecraft.”

Plus he’s a songwriter – David’s tunes are lovely, his extraordinary lyrics rich and touching – and his showmanship unequaled in contemporary bluegrass. The Boston Globe wrote, “A dynamic combination of music and comedy worthy of a traveling vaudeville act.”

Hailed as “…the wild man of Americana” by The Independent – ARCA Executive Director John Soroka says of Mayfield’s blazing musicianship, energy and physical showmanship: “Think of him as the Mick Jagger of Bluegrass – but with a country-down-home goodness.” Unique & Unforgettable…

Opening the concert at 5 PM is Western Pennsylvania’s young and talented bluegrass group, ECHO VALLEY, one band you don’t want to miss, which is delighting audiences as they tour the country with refreshing energy and diverse styles of Bluegrass, Americana, Folk and Grassicana. With their bright retro apparel and animated stage presence, these five sisters and one brother impress with their tight harmonies and multi-instrument talents.

Echo Valley plays 60+ dates a year. The band travels the states and has played in many cities such as, Nashville TN, Pigeon Forge TN, Raleigh NC, Fort Myers FL, Columbus Ohio, Pittsburgh PA, and more.

They were selected as an Official Showcase Band for the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2022 and also selected to perform at the Pennsylvania Fairs and Showmen Convention in 2022. A few of their notable appearances have been: The Station Inn, Dollywood Theme Park, Mohican Bluegrass Festival, West End Fair, Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, and the Tri-State Bluegrass Festival.

The band members have won many competitions as individuals. The most notable is their fiddle player, Emily, who is the 2021 Pennsylvania State Fiddle champion as well as the 2018 Maryland State Fiddle champion. Their latest project, Wildest Dreams (2022), was recorded in Nashville, released on Bell Buckle Records, produced by Donna Ulisse, and sound engineered by Chris Latham and Rebekah Speer. Previous releases include: Echo Valley (2016), Rise and Shine (2018), and Christmas With Echo Valley (2018).
