Art is not about painting the perfect picture.
Art can be used for a wide range of goals: enhancing communication and self-expression, self-discovery, problem solving, developing healthy coping strategies, etc. Art can support individuals in working through specific issues:
Depression ~ Anxiety ~ Addictions ~ Grief/Loss ~ Trauma/PTSD ~ Relational Conflict ~ Life Transitions ~ Self-improvement
Our goal, through this project, is to create a more consistent art program that allows for Pointe members to experience different types of art expression using various materials & ideas that will enhance their own self-expression and help them to develop a more comfortable way of communicating
