Pouring paint on a canvas is one of the most satisfying art forms and combines science with creativity. Anyone can create a beautiful painting by learning some basic art and science principles. In this 2-hour class, we will use two basic pouring techniques on 6”x6” canvases: a ring pour and a Dutch pour. We will also cover the basics including the tools and supplies needed, mixing paints for different techniques, and various pouring mediums and additives. Your paintings will need to be left overnight to dry enough to transport them, so plan to return to Artist’s Attic the next day to pick them up. Dress to get messy! All materials will be provided. This class is appropriate for age 10 and up.
