A Bridgerton Era Tea and Discussion about King George III

October 5 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$40

Join us for high tea at Mount Hope (Baldwin-Reynolds House) for period food and an examination of King George and the American Revolution.

The Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte series on Netflix have taken America by storm – but how much of “Farmer George” is fact, fiction, and what do we know about the real King George.

As part of our events leading up to the 200th anniversary of LaFayette’s visit to Meadville in 1825 as well as America’s 250th (1776-2026), we’ll kick off a two year long series of activities by digging into the mind of King George, Queen Charlotte, and the origins of the American Revolution.

Join us for high tea on October 5th from 1-3pm as we enjoy a period menu, period teas, and a presentation on King George and Queen Charlotte.
Parking next door at Holland Hall with gravel path to the museum
