The 2021 Music in Oil Country marching band festival will feature at least ten high school marching bands spanning five counties. The festival will showcase the hours of practice the students have put into each of their shows.

High school bands scheduled to perform include the Oil City Oiler Marching Band, Franklin Black Knight Marching Band, Lakeview Sailor Marching Band, Meadville Bulldog Marching Band, Brockway Rover Marching Band, Titusville Rocket Marching Band, Cambridge Springs Marching Blue Devils, Conneaut Area Eagle Marching Band, Warren Dragon Marching Band, and Eisenhower Marching Knights.

This year’s show will offer concessions, raffles, candy grams, and the popular air grams where spectators can send a greeting to their favorite marcher.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Oiler Marching Band. Past festivals have funded uniforms, equipment, and the band trailer.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Oil City High School gymnasium. Safety protocols mandated by Oil City Area School District will be followed.
