I am a lifelong resident of Venango County, specifically Clintonville. I currently live in Clintonville with my six-year-old son AJ and our beagle Daisy. I’ve always loved my hometown and never had any intention of leaving the area.

I graduated from Franklin High School in 2001 and Grove City College in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in political science. I will be continuing my education this fall to earn my MBA from Gannon University. I have been employed at Komatsu Mining in Franklin for 13 years and I couldn’t ask for a better employer.

I have found success in Venango County by becoming a member of local organizations, volunteering my time, continuing to make new connections, and building new friendships, all which have helped me grow as a person.

In my free time, I love attending the Farmer’s Market in Franklin, watching a movie in the park with my son, enjoying a craft beer at Trails to Ales, eating a delicious meal at The Taco Shack, or shopping at the many local shops. One of my favorite local festivals is Southern Venango County Community Days which is held in Clintonville each August. I am part of the planning committee, and it is always fun to see residents out enjoying the day.

Some of my favorite places to visit include The Olive Vault, God’s Little Garden, Poppin Sweet Shop, and Core Goods. Clintonville and the surrounding area is also home to a few of my favorite local businesses–Clintonville Market and That Place Eatery.

I enjoy spending time outdoors in the warmer months kayaking, hiking, camping, or riding my bike. I also enjoying participating in local 5Ks. In the future I plan to continue volunteering my time as well as networking and making new connections. I would love to open a business in the area in the future. I am also currently running for mayor of Clintonville. I hope to bring some positive changes to my wonderful hometown.

Venango County is a wonderful place to raise a family. My son and I are always on the go, enjoying the local events and establishments. The change of seasons allows for a variety of outdoor activities so there is something for everyone. I also love the close-knit feel you have in Venango County. Clintonville, in particular, is a safe community that I loved growing up in and now my son is able to grow up here, too.
