The trailhead and water access at 575 N. Seneca Street in Oil City, known as Oil Creek Memorial Landing, will be dedicated Saturday, April 24 at 10 a.m. at the site. A brief ceremony will include a ribbon cutting, speakers and refreshments. All are welcome to attend and encourage to plan bike rides or kayak trips to and from the site that day and any time in the future. With plenty of parking (including ADA) for vehicles and bikes and a gentle access to Memorial Creek, this spot is ideal for outdoor recreationalists, families with kids who want to enjoy the water, anglers, bird watchers, walkers and more.
