Sugarcreek Borough is accepting resumes for the position of Borough Manager/Council Secretary. Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Supervise and responsible for carrying out the activities of the Administrative and Maintenance Departments.
  • Prepare and administer yearly budget.
  • Prepare agendas and participate in Council meetings.
  • Prepare grant applications.
  • Serve as purchasing officer for the Borough, as well as special projects officer.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration; experience as a Borough or Government Administrator; strong executive and administrative skills.
  • Experience in budget preparation, grant writing, personnel management, financial management, public relations.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and computer technology skills, able to perform essential function of the job.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
