Old Home Day 2021
September 6 @ 10:30 am - 6:00 pm
The day will begin with the Raising of The Flag and The National Anthem at 11:00am, then the opening prayer and remarks at 11:30am from our guest speakers Pastor Bodie Riddle and Pastor David McVay.
The Car Show registration will begin at 10:30am at the registration trailer (registration will take a break while the Raising of The Flag and The National Anthem are taking place). Car Show participants will receive a dash plaque, a voucher for a free pop/water or ice cream cone/bowl and will be entered into the door prize drawing.
The Kitchen will open at Noon with a bunch of yummy foods including hot dogs, hamburgers, hot sausages, fresh cut fries, chips, pies/cakes/brownies/cookies, and a wide variety of beverages. A full menu and prices will be posted as the date gets closer.
The Chinese Auction will be open from Noon-3:45pm. The drawing will take place promptly at 4:00pm. You do not need to be present to win.
The Children’s Games will be open from 1:00pm-3:00pm. We will have Penny Carnival style games as well as a Dunk Tank, and the “Train Ride”. New this year will be a Magician by the name of Jamie Petrush of Magic Man Industries. He will be preforming and making balloon animals for the kids. Cotton Candy and Snow Cones will be available for the kids free of charge, adults may purchase their own for a fee.
Live music will begin at Noon. Band names and time slots will be announced as the date gets closer.
Craft/Vendors Show will return to Old Home Day 2021! You must pre-register for this event. Spaces will be $10.00 for a 12×12 spot. Spaces will be filled on a first come basis as we receive completed applications and payments. We are looking for donations for the Kitchen/Building, for the Chinese Auction and for the Car Show Door Prizes. We are also looking for anyone that would like to volunteer their time in the Kitchen, at the Children’s Games, around the grounds, and in the Dunk Tank.
